Privacy Policy
How LinkZae collects, uses and protects your data.
1. What we collect
Account information (email, name), the content you create (link pages, business cards, contacts, invitations, uploaded images), and basic usage data (page/QR scan counts, approximate country derived from request headers). We do not sell your data.
2. How we use it
To provide the service: rendering your public pages, generating QR codes, storing your contact book, and showing you scan analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be used to improve the product.
3. Public content
Your link page, business card and invitation pages are public by design: anyone with the link or QR can view them. Fields marked as hidden (such as the profession note for contacts) are not displayed publicly but are shared when someone saves your card.
4. Third parties
We rely on the service providers below; each processes data under its own privacy policy. Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting) and Lemon Squeezy (payments; LinkZae never sees your card number). Resend delivers our account emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset). Google provides the "Sign in with Google" button on the sign-in and sign-up pages: the button loads from Google, so Google sees those page visits, and if you use it, Google shares your name and email address with us. Sentry (error monitoring, EU data region) receives a report when something breaks in your browser or on our server: the error message, the page address without its query string, and your browser type and language. We remove cookies, request contents, query strings and IP addresses before sending; Sentry does not store IP addresses (it may derive a rough city or country from the connection first). Sentry also receives a minimal session signal when a page loads (app version and browser type). These reports are sent whatever you choose in the cookie banner.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: your sign-in session and your language preference. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If you arrive through a link that carries a source tag (someone's card, invitation or referral link, a campaign link, or the "Powered by LinkZae" badge), we keep a small note of that source in your browser's local storage so we can credit the person who referred you and learn which links bring people to LinkZae. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Turkey (and where we cannot tell your country) we keep it only if you accept in the cookie banner; elsewhere we keep it unless you reject. Rejecting deletes it and stops it. If you create an account, the source tag is stored with the account, together with the country of your request (a two-letter code derived from request headers).
6. Data retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Settings page; your public pages, cards, contacts and invitations are removed. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in the billing portal first. For any other request, write to us.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to learn how it is processed and to object to its processing (Turkish KVKK Art. 11 / GDPR Arts. 15–21). Send your request to zeynepaslierhan@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.
8. Where your data is stored
Our providers (listed in section 4) host data outside Turkey, mainly in Singapore and the United States; Sentry's error reports are stored in the EU. Your data is shared with them only as far as needed to run the service.
