Digital business card for realtors
A realtor hands out a card at showings, open houses and listing appointments, and most of those cards end up in a drawer. A digital card puts your details and your listings one scan away. Here is what to put on it and how to set it up.
Updated
What goes on a realtor's digital card
- The basics people need to reach you: your name, brokerage, mobile number, email and a clear photo.
- A link to your listings. Whether that is your brokerage profile or your own site, one tap should land on the homes you are selling.
- One way to book. A calendar link for a showing or a call. Pick one, not three.
- Anything required. Rules about what must appear on marketing material, such as a license number or brokerage name, differ by state and brokerage. Ask yours before you publish.
Where the QR code earns its place
- Yard signs and flyers. A passer-by can scan the code instead of photographing a phone number. Make the code large enough to scan from where people will actually stand.
- Open house sign-in. Put the code on the entry table so visitors can save you without asking.
- Your email signature. Use the email signature QR code tool to size it.
- Your paper card. Keep the printed card and add a code to the back. The QR code business card guide covers size and testing.
Set it up on LinkZae
- Sign up with Google or an email address.
- In the Links tab, add a link for your listings, one for booking, and one for your phone or email.
- Open the Profile tab, add your logo and publish the page. You choose the address, such as yourname.linkzae.com.
- Open the QR tab, download the code as a PNG or SVG, and use it on signs, flyers and your signature.
If you only want a code that saves your phone number and email, with no account at all, the free vCard QR code generator does that in your browser.
Free or Minimal
- Free: one link page with your logo, a QR code and unlimited links. A small LinkZae badge stays on the page.
- Minimal ($10/month or $90/year): adds the digital business card with save-to-contacts, a contact book with notes and groups, scan analytics, more templates and no LinkZae badge.
What LinkZae does not do
There is no Apple or Google Wallet pass, no CRM integration and no mobile app today. If a Wallet pass is a must for you, check that before you choose. You can compare how the alternatives handle it on the HiHello and Blinq pages, which show their own pricing pages as sources with a check date.
Questions
What should a realtor put on a digital business card?
Name, brokerage, phone, email and a photo, plus a link to your listings. Check with your brokerage and your state for anything required on marketing material, such as a license number.
Where can a realtor use the QR code?
On yard signs, open house sign-in sheets, flyers, car magnets and your email signature. Keep the code large enough to scan from where people will stand, and test it on site.
Does LinkZae have a free plan for realtors?
The Free plan gives you one link page with your logo, a QR code and unlimited links, which is enough to list your phone number and listing pages. The digital business card with save-to-contacts is on Minimal.
Do clients need an app to get my details?
No. A LinkZae digital card opens in the phone browser and the contact can be saved without installing anything.
Start with a free link page
Put your listings, your booking link and your phone number on one page, and print its QR code on your next sign. Move to Minimal later if you want the card and the contact book.
